We are often asked if we also paint roofs as well as renovating and painting villa exteriors and interiors. and the short answer is  - yes. We prepare and repaint roofs of all shapes and sizes,  in all kinds of conditions throughout the year.

Roof Preparation and Restoration

  • Scaffolding, including complicated multi-storey scaffold

  • Water blast

  • Treat rust

  • Lichen and moss removal and treatment

  • Replace screws

  • Seal joins with silicone

  • Sand back loose paint

  • Treat metal with galvo paint.

Protect your investment by looking after your roof

As you can see from the photographs of a few of our previous roof painting projects (above and below), they can range from large, steep and complicated roofs which require a highly skilled team of scaffolders to provide access -  to small, simple, almost flat garage roofs.
 

Whatever the roof size or angles, it is a legal requirement to erect ‘edge protection’ - basically a fence around the entire structure to prevent falls.

 

Likewise, roof condition can vary from being well maintained and requiring only the standard preventative treatment for mould and then water-blasting with the correct detergents - to a virtual eco-system of established moss and lichen that is painstakingly removed by us after we provide treatment.

Some roofs have lost their paint covering almost completely and are back to the bare metal. These roofs need specialised primers before repainting.
 

Some roofs have areas of rust, large and small, and this too must be carefully rust-treated to prevent rust re-emergence.
 

Every roof is different and each requires treatment and preparation and roof coatings specifically tailored to the particular set of conditions present.
